The Moana Salon and The Hula Salon, are located side-by-side in Shop 2 and Shop 3, Swansea.

Following the relocation of our Redhead salon, we warmly welcome all Redhead clients to visit us at our new Moana Salon in Swansea. While both salons operate separately with their own booking systems, the same friendly team is still here to provide the same gentle grooming experience in a calm, home-like environment with Aloha at heart.

Our Redhead phone number remains active for our Moana Salon, so you can still contact us the same way as before.

Patience is key.

You may wonder why dog grooming takes time. Grooming can be a lengthy process. It includes an initial cut or brush out, a warm bath & massage, a blow dry, detailed brush and de-shed, a finishing haircut & style, nail clip & ear clean.

Sometimes the lengthiest part of this process is the dog's behaviour and tolerance of being handled and groomed.

Our team are trained in positive reinforcement training and handling. We do not like to stress out the animals in our care and practice gentle grooming. This technique is where we patiently work with the dogs to groom at their comfortable pace and provide breaks and lots of cuddles.

We call this process, "Riding The Wave". We appreciate everyone's understanding on the time frames we require. Your groomer is always doing their best.

Meet our Founder/Dog Behaviourist

Taylor Wheeler

Taylor has been a dog trainer for nearly 20 years, with a passion for dog psychology, compassionate training, surfing and the relaxed spirit of Hawaii inspiring the creation of Aloha K9 Services.

Originally starting as a dog training business, Taylor wanted to bring that same calm, understanding approach into the grooming salon environment, where many dogs can feel anxious and benefit from ongoing gentle guidance and support.

Taylor is also the head trainer behind Pink Paw Program, helping support rescue dogs, adopters, and carers across Australia and Hawaii through positive, relationship-based training.

Tiegan Cobban

Tiegan is a passionate dog lover with a strong focus on gentle, compassionate grooming with purpose.

Tiegan became involved with Aloha more than 10 years ago as the business was evolving into grooming salons, and quickly connected with the vision of combining positive training techniques with grooming. As a dedicated supporter of rescue dogs, the mission behind both Aloha and Pink Paw Program became a meaningful part of Tiegan’s life.

Since then, Tiegan has helped open multiple salon locations and continues to support the growing umbrella of Aloha, Pink Paw Program, Dog Training Lifestyle, and Nohona with a strong commitment to animal wellbeing, community, and compassionate care.

FRESH TOWELS.

At Aloha, every towel is washed and disinfected after every use. A warm, dry towel is provided for each dog after every bath. A dog's favourite part of getting wet is the massage towel dry!

HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS.

Our clients will enjoy a massage spa with our carefully selected gorgeous Strawberry Shampoo. It's natural Coconut Oil, Certified Organic Witch Hazel extract, Glycerine and Wild Strawberry fragrance leaves your pup clean and fresh without stripping natural oils.

After two shampoos we lather with our favourite Luxurious Coconut Conditioning Treatment with a proprietary blend of Australian Olive Oil with Vitamin (E) and Minerals.

Finishing with a spray of Coconut Oil based fragrance for that long lasting smell.

All products are Biodegradable, Soap Free, Natural and pH Balanced for animals.
